Yes, this is a live site and comments are welcome on any item or story.
However, to do so, you first have to join the site, then you have to log in. If you didn't join or log in, you won't see the links to post comments all over the place, and might think you can't post comments at all. You can - but you have to log in first. The next paragraph will tell you what you need to do, based on whether you're logged in or not.
You're not logged in, so if you want to comment you'll need either to log in, or join the site by registering (it's free)!
