(Not So) Cheap Tickets

It seems you can't give out tickets to a Cheney event unless you sign a pledge of support to their ticket. I don't really know how they would enforce such a pledge, but after Florida I really can't tell what's going to happen in a voting precinct anymore.

The man's case was thrown out because (stupidly) he didn't arrange to have the GOP notified of his suit, which is a damn shame. I wonder how it would have played if all parties had been properly served.

It almost makes me miss Nixon.

The Tooth Story

I'm sorry I haven't written very much in the last week. I haven't really felt very well (felt very good? I can never get those two straight, and I'm not such a perfectionist anymore that I'll look it up) and have done my best to be a log, not a blog. I still don't feel well enough to go on this big trip next week, but go I will, because I want to see how much weight Steve Page has indeed lost on the Atkins Diet.

So, while I've been miserable, I've finished the story of my teeth, and it is now here for your enjoyment, disgust, or curiosity, whichever the case may be.

I say this in the beginning of the story, and I'll say it again here, so the search engines will catch it. It seems I can never get medication that isn't going to get on the national news, and I saw a report on CBS News about three weeks ago (sorry, can't find the hyperlink) about Actiq lozenge abuse in Pennsylvania. My refer logs have caught several cases of searches designed to find out how to abuse fentanyl, which is the narcotic in Actiq. This paragraph is designed to catch those searches in this item and direct them to the next paragraph.

Hey, idiots: Before you decide to use my medicine for a high, read the story and decide if you want to have all of your teeth replaced. Not only is a month's supply of this medicine over $2000 pharmacy cost, not street cost (which is at least ten times higher), you're going to lose all your teeth if you keep it up.

The lambchop has spoken. Abuse this drug at the risk of your own teeth.
