Klingon rambling
Someone needs a day job.

I'm back, and I'm happy!!
I've written about it here, or you can click on the headline. It's also available on the left side of the page.(Sorry about the instructions for those who know how to use hyperlinks, but it's the EMS teacher in me.)
While I was gone, I had a chance to visit the Apple Store in Plano. I needed a case for my 15GB iPod, and I've been perusing the reviews on iPodlounge, but for some things I need to see them and touch them. The Apple Store had a good selection of accessories, and I chose an iSkin eVo in Arctic. I'm very happy with it so far. The only drawback I can see is inability to use the dock, but since I just plug mine directly into the FireWire cable that's not a problem for me.
I've also been looking for car adapters/schemes for using my iPod on the road, and after reading the iPodlounge reviews I settled on the iTrip from Griffin. I haven't been able to play with it yet, because of a battery snafu on my PowerBook on the way back home, but that's next on my install agenda.
All in all, a very nice trip. Now I get to rest for two weeks, then it's off to St. Louis, then two weeks after that it's off to Minneapolis. And somewhere in there school starts and there's a primary election here in Oklahoma.
With that, I'll close for now - after I've read my 773 headlines in NetNewsWire, I'll probably have more to say. Until then......
